Participant Profile

The U.S. Department of Commerce International Trade Administration along with the local offices of Jones Day and Deloitte, invite key institutional investors (10+) in each city or surrounding region ( Sydney , Hong Kong , Singapore , Abu Dhabi and London ) to participate in this unprecedented program. Institutional investor types include sovereign wealth funds, public and private pension funds, superannuation funds, insurance companies, banks, high net worth individuals, and others. These investors are either current investors in the U.S. or those seeking to expand their knowledge and exposure to key U.S. fund managers and investment opportunities.

A group of (10-15) U.S. based venture capital and private equity firms have been carefully identified to participate in the Global Road Show. Senior executives of these firms will serve as spokespersons for the U.S. presenting their macro and micro venture capital and/or private equity knowledge, and their expertise on the most attractive investment strategies for foreign institutional investors to consider in the current global economy. This dynamic group represents a mix of fund managers with diverse investment strategies, sector focuses, and geographic preferences. All possess performance history and sound investor liquidity strategies. (Note, the U.S. Department of Commerce and its International Trade Administration are not participating in the selection committee for this global road show.)

Others invited are thought-leaders in the private equity and venture capital industry who will share in the knowledge exchange during the program in each city.
